Description
This highlight video features matches from the MLS NEXT 2025 Showcase. Our team finished with a 1–2 record (scores listed below). I served as captain in all three matches and played every minute of the final two games. I played center back for the duration of the showcase and later filled in as goalkeeper after our starting keeper received a red card. This is my highlight tape for my Junior year Fall season. We made a it to the quarter finals of the state tournament, where we fell to the #1 seed Weston. At the end of the season our record was 9-9-4. I had the third most minutes on the team and 1 assist, playing primarily center back, but CDM and CM as well. This summer I played in the Gothia Cup, the largest international youth tournament in the world. Each game was 50 minutes long due to there being almost 5000 games. Across the whole tournament, I played 9 games and started all but one of them. We also played 2 friendly games in Denmark before heading for sweden. I started both and won both. I was playing a year up along with a few other kids on the B17 team. I started in all of the 4 games played. We placed 2nd in our group and got knocked out in the first game of playoff A Group stage: 5-0 W vs WSV Tangstedt ?? 2-2 D vs K. BK ?? 0-0 D vs Lunden ÖBK ?? Playoffs: 0-3 L vs Bengtsfors IF ?? On the B16 team, I began playing with them in their second game of playoff B. I started all of the playoffs except for game 2 (my first). We made a run all the way to the semi finals and then suffered an unfortunate loss by giving up a 1-0 lead. Playoffs: 1-0 W vs Ö. This highlight tape is from my recent Spring season at Oakwood. I started every game and played CB for the whole season. We won 1 game and came close to winning many more. I collected a bunch of clips and will most likely be making a second tape of the season. I am attending the Gothia Cup 2025 tournament in Sweden from July 9-20th. If I can get clips or gameplay from there I will be putting together some sort of video to showcase it. I am now going into my junior year at Bacon Academy. More to come. This is my highlight tape for my sophomore year Fall season. I was the youngest starter, starting all but 3 games due to injuries. I played CDM for most of the season then moved to CB at the end. I gathered 1 Goal and 2 assists throughout the season.
