Personal Statement
I grew up competing in baseball, football, basketball, track and swim. I have challenged myself academically with AP classes and a high GPA. My parents instilled in me and my siblings a strong work ethic and that education is priority - Student Athlete means student first, athlete second. But baseball shaped me into the person I am today. From wiffle ball with my brothers to competitive club and high school games, baseball has broadened my perspective on competition, taught me how to handle failure, and showed the value of communication to success. I try to guide my brothers with my knowledge from this game and hope it sparks the same passion and teaches them life lessons I have gained.
