CHICAGO, IL -- The Northstar Invitational and SportsRecruits.com have agreed to an enhanced partnership in advance of this summer’s Invitational, it was announced today. SportsRecruits.com, US Lacrosse’s Service Provider for Recruiting, will again be on-site in Lake Placid to provide comprehensive recruiting tools and film coverage. In 2013, they will play an expanded role by providing extensive news and media coverage of the invitation-only camp. SportsRecruits News will provide coverage leading up to Northstar, to include a review of selected athletes, coach and director interviews, and players to watch. Lacrosserecruits.Com To Provide Comprehensive Recruiting Packages & Exclusive Video Coverage At 2013 Futures Events Futures Lacrosse and SportsRecruits.com have reached an agreement to make SportsRecruits.com the official video provider at Futures Select events this summer, it was announced today. The Futures Select events will be held in two sessions this July. “We look forward to working with SportsRecruits.com to teach and promote young women lacrosse players from around the country,” says Futures Lacrosse founder MAC FORD. “Through the use of video, we feel we have a connection in helping players increase their lacrosse IQ while benefiting them in the recruiting process." The action was solid all day, with 10 teams playing three games apiece. Each team was led by a DIII head or assistant coach and chosen at random prior to the showcase. There was plenty of talent on hand, with many players making a mark on the coaches assembled. While certainly not an all-encompassing list, we put together a list of standouts – three from each position, plus a long-stick midfielder, faceoff-man and goalie. Day Marked by Excellent School Representation, Exciting Play On Monday, January 21, roughly 160 boys lacrosse players took part in the inaugural D3 Showcase presented by SportsRecruits.com. Held at the Indoor Sports Pavilion in Randolph, New Jersey, the event put players on display for coaches from some of the best Division III programs in the country. The showcase was created with a focus on providing high school players the opportunity to be seen by academic-oriented institutions that compete at the Division III level. However, on a mid-January weekend in Randolph, New Jersey, the talk about these institutions centered around lacrosse at the Nike Elite 120 Showcase. In just its third year, this event has become one of the biggest recruiting weekends in girls lacrosse – and it is easy to see why. ...

Event Draws 84 College Coaches Representing 72 Institutions The Nike Elite 120 concluded its third successful girls lacrosse showcase last weekend at the Indoor Sports Pavilion in Randolph, New Jersey. The event was held on Saturday, January 19 and Sunday, January 20 and attracted 84 coaches from some of the top college programs across the country. “I am excited about the success of the event,” said Elite 120 Director CHARLIE SHOULBERG. “84 coaches were in attendance representing 72 schools, and my inbox has been blowing up with raving testimonials.” SportsRecruits.com, US Lacrosse’s Official Service Provider for Recruiting, was on site all weekend providing video coverage and running recruiting seminars for players and parents. “With the acceleration of the recruiting process, there is a lot of confusion out there,” said SportsRecruits.com Co-Founder MATT WHEELER. “Having all played college lacrosse and being endorsed by US Lacrosse, we really enjoyed giving players and their parents a road map to follow.” ...
