“It is the most innovative platform on the market, and the customer service and tech support they provide is second to none!”
“We will benefit from the ‘High Visibility’ that SportsRecruits offers, as well as the credibility this company already has in the recruiting world.”
– Jay Worley, Chairman
SportsRecruits is a technology solution that automatically organizes the recruiting process for club staff and players. With SportsRecruits, players share their athletic stats, academic transcripts, event schedule and video. The Built-In Messaging System connects the club to every college coach in the country.
“We will benefit from the ‘High Visibility’ that SportsRecruits offers,” said Worley about the benefits to players of the platform. “As well as the credibility this company already has in the recruiting world.”
Players populate their SportsRecruits profiles with a picture, highlight reels, and video. This potential for customization empowers players to control the first interaction that a coach has with them. In the saturated recruiting space, this is a crucial way for players to set themselves apart.
In this way, the platform puts Georgia Academy Power Softball Club players directly in front of college coaches.

About Georgia Academy Power Softball Club
The Georgia Power Softball Club was founded in the fall of 2009 by Coach Ernie Yarbrough, and played their first season in the spring of 2010. The “GAP” fielded five teams in the inaugural season. Each subsequent year the Program has added teams in each age group, and will field 10 teams in the 2014-15 season.
The popularity of the Program is a direct result of the overall philosophy that “the kids come first”. Simply put, this philosophy presents a position of all involved that the focus will remain on the development of the players on and off the field. The GAP is proud that more than 40 young ladies who have worn the red-white-and blue in the past three seasons have gone on to play at the college level.
The Program works very hard to develop, market, and place their players at a school where they can pursue their educational goals, while continuing their softball careers. Coach Ernie has always professed “there is a good fit for any girl who wants to continue to play this game at the next level, and it is our responsibility to help find that fit”.[ecko_toggle style=”solid” state=”closed” title=”
