Coaches often asked for additional film. They liked my highlight video and it peaked their curiosity to come and see me play.
How did you use SportsRecruits.com to increase your exposure to college coaches?
I am from a relatively unknown area for lacrosse, so it was a huge advantage. It gave me the chance to reach out to coaches. Coaches now had an idea of who I was before the tournaments in the summer.
How do you think SportsRecruits.com gave you an advantage over your peers who tried to do it on their own?
There is no doubt that I had a huge advantage over my peers that did not use this service. They had to depend on coaches attending the tournaments and watching them play versus having film where coaches could see me in action before the tournaments, which hopefully made the coaches interested.
Would you recommend SportsRecruits.com to a friend that wants to play college lacrosse?
Absolutely. Our club team recommends it at all of the meetings.
Does SportsRecruits.com work?
There is no doubt it works. After e-mailing coaches, lacrosserecruits gave coaches everywhere the chance to see my stats and film, versus sending out packets that may or may not be reviewed. I really think it gave me an edge and now I am going to college at my first choice, Roanoke College.
