Leo Johnson #13 Fall High School examples of play as Left Back
by Leo Johnson
Description
Leo Johnson, Left Back, #13 South Kingstown class of 2023, left back play for boys varsity boys SKHS soccer team during Fall 2022 season. Our team won the state championship in 2020, made semi's last year, and made playoffs again this year (still in it!). We led the RI Division I with fewest goals against with 11 total out of 13 games and 7 shutouts. This video shows many examples my defensive awareness, spacing, physical effort, and one-on-one defending. I also contribute to team offense and attack myself, finding feet, passing out of the back, carrying the ball down the sideline, and a few times dropping a good weighted ball when the opportunity is there in the box. I am fast. I close ground quickly to get back into defensive position every time to keep wingers away and outside.
