Personal Statement
My name is Zoe Horner and I have lived in Murrieta/Temecula, CA my entire life. From the age of three to age seven I did gymnastics. I loved gymnastics, but the older I got the taller I got and my parents knew that eventually I would size out. So, my mom who played volleyball during her high school years in Texas, looked up club volleyball and enrolled me into a weekly class called ACES at Viper Volleyball Club. At the age of 7 I was introduced to my passion, volleyball! Ever since I could be found in the gym 4 to 6 days a week. I’m excited to continue to grow as an athlete, teammate and leader. In school I am outgoing and part of the BBC leadership team. When I’m not on the court, gym or school; I am with my family.
