Personal Statement
I am Zaria Keys, and I fell in love with the game of Volleyball in 7th grade after years of competitive dance and tennis and fell in love instantly. My athletic career progressed and improvement was instant as I understood the game more and grew as my athletic ability grew. My plan is to maintain my academic achievements for the rest of high school and college. I have played Varsity Full time since my sophomore year. Currently my strongest position is a Setter, although I know all the positions on the court and move around frequently. Athletically, I would love to play collegiately, building lifelong relationships all while earning a degree. Thanks to my family, coaches and teammates, I have realized that within a sport it is not always about skill, but attitude and dedication.
