Personal Statement
I love playing the backline. As my size and strength continue to increase, I have had a great time learning to use it to our advantage. I feel confident taking a center-back position and love seeing offenders on approach. I know my teams benefit from my ability to play long balls, switch the field and they look for me to finish on corners. Being selected by the coaching staff at Barca Academy as team captain for 4 years drove home the importance of choice in words and actions. This is my first season with Ohio Premiere (OP), I was selected as captain by my teammates and I love to lead the team and take a leadership role. I feel a great responsibility to my teammates and coaches for pursuing shared goals. I have wanted to play soccer in college ever since I was a little kid.
