Personal Statement
My name is Victoria Katilius, and I am currently a junior at John Champe High School. I am a passionate advocate for student-athlete mental health, being the president of The Hidden Opponent at my high school after starting it as a club last year. I love to support my teammates on the field and off the field in any way I can, and meeting new players and making new friends every season is one of my favorite parts of the game. I can't thank softball enough for giving me some amazing life-long friendships. My time outside softball is spent trying new things and finding new hobbies, as well as finding time for myself to de-stress and relax. One of my favorite activities is reading new books, as I plan to major in English and pursue a career that involves writing after college.
