Personal Statement
My name is Valerie DuVal. I am a Senior, 2024, starting my fifth year of Varsity Hockey at Simley High School in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. I played Center throughout the season, but also played Wing and Defense when needed. This season my team had 21 wins, 3 losses, and 1 tie. We placed first in our Metro East Conference and First in our Section. I had a total of 21 points, with 8 goals and 13 assists. I enjoy hockey because it is a fast paced game and gives me the opportunity to demonstrate quick thoughts and my athletic ability. Every time I step out on the ice I give 110% but also enjoy the game play with my teammates and the achievements we can do together. During the off-season, I participate in OS Hockey on the JWC White team. I also participate in Lacrosse and Soccer.
