Tyler Persampire

I’m a student first athlete that’s extremely dedicated to both my academic and athletic future. Along with baseball, I wrestle on the varsity level for my high school. Wrestling being my second sport allows for me to build stamina and muscle stability that helps strengthen my abilities for baseball. As a catcher, I’d like to consider myself defensively sound not allowing many passed balls. This paired with my pop-time (which sits around the low 2 second mark) allows for me to defensively assist my team from the catching position. As a hitter, I have a high contact rate which allows for average to sit in the .300s. This paired along with my low K-rate allows for me to typically succeed in the box.
