Personal Statement
Hi. My name is Thailee Jones (Ty-Lee). I am a Native American from 2 Affiliated Tribes in Arizona (Navajo & Hopi), my mom is Navajo and my dad is Hopi/Black, I love playing softball and hope to one day play at the college level, I am a POWER Hitter/RHP and I also play 1st base, I am a student/athlete at Desert Vista high school. I also play badminton to keep my hand & eye coordination sharp and helps with my foot work. I try to hit at least 5/6 times a week and Pitch 4 times a week working on spins/spots and movement along with long toss to work on speed, after that I do fielding drills. If I’m not playing softball, I like hanging out with my friends and family.
