Personal Statement
Hi, I’m Tess Roman! I started playing lacrosse in 3rd grade and have loved the game ever since. I am a three-sport, award-winning, Varsity athlete (lacrosse, swim, soccer) since Freshman year. I come from a very competitive environment at home as I have two older brothers and a football coach as a father, which means that everything is a contest. I’m always on the field to aggressively compete and come up with a win. I don’t give up and want to make my dream of playing college lacrosse a reality. Academic success is the other key aspect of my life. My parents stress that school comes first, and have instilled in me the drive to excel in the classroom. I try my absolute hardest in school, and always strive to perform at the highest level in the most difficult classes.
