Personal Statement
Hi Coaches, My name is Tess Hayes. I am a member of the class of 2023 and I attend Mother McAuley High School. I have an older brother who introduced me to the sport and I loved watching his competitive, fast paced games at the college level! This past year, during the pandemic, we were lucky enough to have a shortened high school season, where I ran a 5-1 on McAuley’s JV team. We were crowned champions of the GCAC with an overall record of 17-1. I joined 1st Alliance VBC in 2019 and before the pandemic, I was chosen to be a part of the All Tournament Team for the 2020 St. Louis Presidents’ Day Classic. I am currently playing on 17 Black for 1st Alliance, and I am looking forward to another successful upcoming season! Thank you for reading and I am looking forward to what my future holds!
