I’m a passionate athlete who plays every game with heart and purpose. But what truly drives me is the memory of my cousin, McKenzie Adams. We were both 9 years old when she tragically took her own life due to bullying in school. Ever since that day, I’ve dedicated myself to keeping her memory alive in everything I do, both on and off the field. I chose #9. When my mom asked me why, I told her it was for the number of years I had with Kenzie. Every time I can, I wear #9 in any sport I play as a tribute to her.I believe this dedication and the purpose I carry with me set me apart as an athlete.
