Personal Statement
I'm Taryn Wilson, a student-athlete at North Posey High School. I love being around people and having fun, so I spend my summers as a lifeguard at the local pool. I also enjoy giving back by helping young kids at North Posey develop their volleyball, basketball, and softball skills. I maintain a 3.99 GPA in Honors classes, and I am ranked 9th out of 106. I'm involved in Student Council, HOSA, and ICC, where I've developed leadership and teamwork skills. As a multi-sport athlete in volleyball, basketball, and softball, I led my JV softball team in key stats as a freshman and continue to excel as a varsity player, leading in stolen bases. I value sports for the friendships, connections, and life lessons I make/learn along the way.
