Personal Statement
My name is Tamia Coleman. I am a senior at Palm Beach Central High School in Wellington, Florida and I am a middle blocker for Tribe 18 Elite Navy. This is my fourth year playing volleyball and my second year on varsity. I’m captain of both the varsity basketball and volleyball teams and I am also involved in many clubs at my school, including National Honors Society, Women in STEM, BSU, and more. I am interested in studying engineering in college, with my passion being aerospace and aeronautical engineering. I would like to attend a highly academic school where I can pursue both my academic and athletic goals.
