Personal Statement
I am Taiah (Tay-ah). My grandmother (Navajo-Din'e) calls me "Jozh bah," meaning-she is friendly. I love softball, basketball and fishing as long as I could remember. These activities have given me the discipline to overcome many obstacles in school and in my personal life. The ability to compete and smile with the same enthusiasm in defeat, as in winning. The ability to consistently maintain a good academic discipline. The ability to successfully lead and manage both sports, academics and life. I am blessed to have parents and family that have guided me with words like "commitment, hard work and balance."
