Personal Statement
My name is Sydni Ellis and I am a senior at Schaumburg High School, class of 2023. I currently play for Elgin Impact 18u White and my high school’s varsity team. I play 1st base, 3rd base, and occasionally shortstop and catcher. In high school, I currently have a 3.8 GPA while being a three-sport athlete for all four years. Outside of softball, I am on the varsity cheer squad that has been a 3-time conference champion, and multiple Illinois State Qualifier. I am also an active member of my school’s S.A.L.T. program (Student Athlete Leadership Team), a National Honors Society member and two-time captain of the cheer squad.
