Personal Statement
My name is Sydney May (2025), I am number 81 for the 18u VA Glory National Mertz/Griffith team. I have loved softball since I picked up a bat when I was 5, and now I have played for 11 years. I started pitching at a young age, and I love making diving plays in the field and hitting line drives! When I was younger my goal was to play on the high school team, and I achieved that goal when I started on varsity my freshmen year. My dream has always been to play in college and have a great academic experience. I know if I keep working hard and stay accountable to what I need to do, I can accomplish my dream. It's getting closer and closer to reality and I'm so excited!
