Personal Statement
I have a strong passion for track, and have been doing the sport since 2009. Throughout my running career, I have broken multiple records, and received the USATF Youth Track Athlete of the Year award. In highschool, I am focusing on the 400 meters and 800 meters. However, I am a flexible runner, and can run anything from the 200 meters to 1500 meters. Outside of the classroom, I am an accomplished and diverse student. I have a love for science, and participate in multiple clubs to pursue other areas of interest, such as being the co-leader of Black Girl Magic, and a member of Students Environmental Action. I have an impressive GPA of 3.92, and am serious about my academic career as well. Overall, I am an athlete with a large amount of potential, and would be a great member of any team.
