Sydney Goetzel

Hello! I am very passionate about softball but especially pitching. Softball has been a large part of my life for a long time, I have been playing for 8 years now. I genuinely believe I would not be the person I am without softball. Softball has taught me how to be strong, both mentally and physically, how to compete, and how to work for something. I have learned so much about what it means to be a good leader, and how to help the others around you. There is truly no feeling quite like the one you experience in the middle of the field in the circle. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to not only play at the college level but to be able to get a higher education. As much as I love softball, I also realize that my education is what will take me through life, and so it must come first.
