Personal Statement
I began playing what I call the “dream sport” (soccer) at the age of 9. Before soccer I was in gymnastics but I knew it wasn’t the right fit. I primarily play attacking mid but also holding mid when needed. I’m hardworking, optimistic, and versatile. I am right foot dominant and equally strong with my left which helps me stand out. I was chosen team captain for both the AZSC 06/07 DPL Meskill and Crismon HS Varsity team as a 10th and 11th grader. Through my junior season I’ve scored 112 goals had 82 assists, named MVP 3 straight seasons, All-Region 1st Team and All-Region Player of the Year. Off the field I have a 4.0 GPA and am a part of the National Honor Society. I would love to attend a college that allows me to excel academically and continue to play soccer at a competitive level.
