Personal Statement
My name is Sydney Bourne. I am a versatile lacrosse player for YJS '26. I'm also a Rising Junior at Trinity Episcopal School in Richmond, VA. At Trinity and Yellow Jackets South, I am a starter on defense. I am both a vocal and aggressive defender with a high lacrosse IQ. I play volleyball for my school and I am in a few clubs too. I am a focused player and I put in a lot of effort on and off the field. When I am not playing lacrosse, I am studying hard to continue making the Headmaster's List at school. I care a lot about both academics and lacrosse and I'm not afraid to put in the work it takes to become a collegiate student athlete in the future.
