Sophie Rater

I started playing soccer on the fields of Ohio when I was 3 years old. I left soccer briefly to try gymnastics, speed skating & volleyball, but quickly came back to my first love of soccer and have dreamed of playing college soccer like my big sister. I am involved in my HS swim team, forensics team and soccer team where I won honorable mention for our conference sophomore year & 2nd team junior year. I have primarily been a winger (I can shoot with both my right & left foot) but have played forward and even holding midfield due to teammate injuries. As a captain of my club and HS team, I take my role as leader seriously both on and off the field. Outside of soccer, I like baking, reading and shopping. I look forward to competing at a high level while pursuing my degree in psychology.
