Personal Statement
Hi, I am Sophia Zapata. I am a 2026 attacker/draw specialist. I play for both Marvin Ridge High School Varsity and Charlotte Style. I have been playing lacrosse since the age of 7. I've mostly played middie. Coaches have entrusted me to handle the ball as I've consistently shown the ability to understand offensive concepts, scan the entire field, and effectively move the ball. Regarding my studies, they include several honors classes, as my current GPA is 4.33. Past achievements include: Beta Club and multiple Leadership Recognition Awards. When I am not attending school or playing lacrosse, I work at a bakery. In staying true to myself, I very much look forward to playing college lacrosse. Thank you for viewing my profile.
