Personal Statement
My name is Sophia Rakis, an attacker on Hero's 2025 Green, which is nationally ranked each year. I am also the starting attacker on the Glenelg Country School's varsity lacrosse team, which was ranked #1 in 2022 nationally and #7 in 2023. I am the starting shooting guard on the varsity basketball team. I have a strong lax IQ and I am the quarterback for our high powered offense, leading the team in assists. I have a 3.9 GPA, taking honors classes and find success in the classroom to be just as important as success on the field/court. If I am not working out you can find me cooking and baking for my friends and family, or watching true crime shows.
