Personal Statement
My name is Sophia Kuhns. I play hockey and lacrosse for Lakeville South High School in MN. I played my first year of HS hockey in 8th grade (21-22). During the 22-24 seasons I was a starter on varsity and was named most improved player (2023) and awarded the unsung hero award (2024). I am a coachable and very hard-working player. I am willing to compete on both ends of the ice and always looking for ways to set up my teammates with passes to create scoring opportunities. I am always looking for ways to improve my game and grow as a player. I am very determined on the ice and in the classroom. I am actively involved in extracurriculars including DECA, Faith Club, and volunteering with different events as a student-athlete leader.
