Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Sophia Ashcroft and I have been playing lacrosse since middle school. When I first started playing, my coaches had me experience all positions but I felt the most confident playing attack. I attend Garden Spot High School and I am a varsity player. After my first year of lacrosse, I have decided to take on the challenge of a club team, and now I currently play for Lanco Elite. I admire how different each season is and the growth opportunities that are available at each practice. I have witnessed and experienced very different coaching strategies however, I am a quick learner and adapted very easily to create a strong bond with not only the coaches but the team as well. I am looking forward to what the future holds for my expansion of education and lacrosse.
