Personal Statement
I'm currently a Junior at Manhasset High School in New York. I have a 3.8 GPA and am taking AP and Honors classes this year, while also being involved in community service and participating in numerous school clubs and honor societies. I was voted Junior Captain of our team this year, was named one of Long Island's Top 50 Field Hockey players for 2023 in Newsday, and also received All State recognition! This season our team ended the season at 13-0 in our conference and were conference champions, but lost in the county championship game. We were also ranked #11 in the Northeast by Max Field Hockey as of October 31st. My field vision, stick-handling, speed and toughness are key attributes my coaches cite in contributing to our team success. Recruiting website: https://sofiascalzo2025.com
