Personal Statement
My name is Sofia Rotella. I have been playing for STA for 4 years and have been a starter on my high school team, Whippany Park HS, since sophomore year. I have been playing right back for most of the past four seasons, but also have filled in at center back when needed. I pride myself on my work ethic on and off the field, competitiveness, preparation and desire to do whatever needed to help my team win. I was named captain of the 2007 STA USYS team for the 2023-24 season and began playing for the 2007 STA GA NAL team in the spring of 2024. I am looking to find the right fit of both academics and playing soccer in college at a strong school that will prepare me for the future.
