Sofia Isabel Mercado

Hi! My name is Sofia Mercado. I am attending Beckman High School, and I will be graduating in 2027. I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I have been pushing myself in the sport which have allowed me the chance to play in different positions competitively. I want to take soccer to the next level, because I love soccer, I have a lot of fun, I have made many friends throughout the years, and I enjoy getting better every day. But when it is game time, I am all about business. As a goalkeeper, I have learned that mental toughness can be as important as physical preparation. As demanding as competitive soccer can be, I always ensure that school is first. I am enjoying High School and all the challenges that comes with it. Thank you for your interest! Hope to meet you!
