Personal Statement
When I was 8 years old on the first day that I learned how to ride a bike, I told my Dad I wanted to ride over the Brooklyn Bridge, and we did. My name is Sofia “Salsa” Cropper and I play for the SI Saints 18U team. I have never been afraid of a challenge. I love the game and I have played every position on the field. As a freshman I made the varsity softball team at Xaverian HS in Brooklyn. I have also been invited to the USSSA “Select 30” national training camp and I am a 6X USSSA All-American where I have been a member of the national championship team. I am exploring schools where I can be challenged academically while continuing to play softball at a high-level. I also enjoy boxing, basketball, swimming, writing and spending time with my family and dog, Rocco the Cockapoo.
