Personal Statement
I am a 6'10'' Senior at the rigorous Stuyvesant High School (NYC). I grew up playing neighborhood basketball and only decided to get serious in high school. I made Varsity as a Soph. and have been working hard as a late bloomer of size. I was named Co-captain moving into this Sr. year. I am honing big man skills with an NBA trainer and have had the fortune to work with NYC collegiate men who are big and better. My 17U coach wrote, “no one showed more improvement over the spring season than this big fella.” Academics are extremely important to me, and I strive to be a top student while keeping my basketball skills ever-increasing to the next level. I have high GPA/SAT numbers by balancing the game and my academics - two things that give me joy.
