Slater Fuhrman

As a kid I played as many sports as I could play in a year-basketball, football, baseball, volleyball, surfing and when forced by my dad, golf. The summer after my freshman high school year I followed a few volleyball opportunities and found myself constantly looking forward to the next practice or tournament. After 10 days of USA A-1 High Performance training and competition I wanted to play even more insisting on private lessons to get more reps and playing with teammates on days off. I like being known as a volleyball player. I found myself playing at the highest club level as the youngest player (16) on 18’s Navy this season and earned a starting job in high school as a Sophomore and Junior. I always intended to go to college but volleyball makes that decision more exciting.
