Personal Statement

I began playing basketball in the sixth grade. I was athletic but had no basketball skills or IQ. Through a lot of hard work I changed that and became a great basketball player. In 2018 I tore my ACL and had surgery to repair it. I fought my way back and was a starting player in 2019 on the most dominant 4A girls basketball team in North Carolina (Southeast Raleigh Magnet HS Lady Bulldogs). Due to COVID we were co-state champions. COVID-19 suspended all in person tournaments and visits by college coaches so recruiting has been really different. I want to continue playing basketball at the collegiate level and know that I can be an asset to any basketball program.
