Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Skylar Egan and I have been playing lacrosse for almost 14 years. Freshman year I was a starting defender on East Meadow Varsity Lacrosse and got switched to Attack halfway threw my season and was the only freshman to score that year. Sophomore year I was still top scorer in my grade and 2nd in the grade above me. I am also a cofounder in Jack and Skylar's Kicking Cancer Carwash. In 2012 my brother and I started the Jack and Skylar's Kicking Cancer Carwash to help raise money for cancer research. A few years later, Jack and I decided to start splitting the money we got each year between The American Cancer Society and The Ray Pfeifer Foundation which is a foundation that helps sick or injured 9/11 responders.
