Personal Statement
Hello! my name is Skylar Courtney. I am currently the outside hitter for UMS-Wright Varsity Volleyball Team. I have been on the Varsity Volleyball Team at UMS-Wright since my freshman year. We are the Alabama 2024 5A Regional and State Champions! I currently am a pin hitter at LAV (Lower Alabama Volleyball Club) in Mobile, AL. This will be my 4th season on a national team at LAV. I am a member of the UMS-Wright Choir and sing the National Anthem at community and school events. Last summer, I was given the opportunity to sing at the Women's NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship held in Gulf Shores, AL. My true passions are volleyball, singing, and animals. I want to peruse a career in Veterinary medicine while playing volleyball at the next level.
