Skylar Bartz

Hi, I’m Skylar Bartz. I would love to play softball for an academically and athletically rigorous school. I started out with the not at all ironic nickname, Smalls. I've played in the outfield since no one could hit it that far and hit last in the order as a coach’s kid. When I joined the MN A's as a 13 year old, I didn't think of myself as a hitter. I was a pitcher and an outfielder, and I just prayed I would get walked. Over the course of a winter I turned that around. My favorite part of the game now rests at the plate and walking is the last thing on my mind. I have become an official Mediums. I love every part of softball and any chance to play 4 more years is a chance I'm happy to take. Softball has taught me so much, and I now just hope that I can give my all on a team that fits me
