Personal Statement
My name is Sinead "Shae" Thomas. I am a Senior at East Wake Academy High School. I am a dual sport athlete and I play travel softball under Coach Bruce Cozart (AAFP) and club volleyball for Carolina Evolution Volleyball. I've been playing volleyball since I was ten years old, and I am interested in playing softball and volleyball at the next level. My primary position is a setter, but I can play other positions, such as a defensive specialist and right-side. In softball I am an outfielder/ utility. Junior year, I played middle in a couple of games when we had a player out sick. I think one of my greatest accomplishments would be playing in the AAU Nationals back to back, and that is only second to winning states back in January of 2021 as a Sophomore as the starting defensive specialist.
