Personal Statement
My name is Simran Rai and I am a 2023 graduate from Seaquam Secondary High School, Delta, BC . I play for Raincity Volleyball club in BC, Canada and I am a member of the Team BC team and played Canada Cup in July 2022. We won gold medal in Volleyball Canada National - Div 2 Tier 1. I am 6 feet 2.5 inches tall and I'm a middle blocker however, I am versatile to play in other positions on the court. I am a multi-athlete that plays competitive volleyball, swimming and soccer. Recently, I was one of 24 players invited to attend Team Canada NEP (National Excellence Program) Volleyball ID Camp on Jan 8, 2022. I was awarded: 1. Outstanding and most valuable Grade 11 Athlete in both sports & academic on June 2022 2. All Star Award in BC Senior High School provincial championship on Dec 2021
