Personal Statement
My name is Sierra Dunkley and I have been playing soccer since I was 2. I began playing travel when I was 7 until I was 12. After travel, I moved to OPDL, the team I have just departed from after 3 years. I now play for Niagara Surf Soccer Club. I attend Ridley College, an IB private school, and have been there since grade 1. School is a lot harder and has been hard to juggle soccer and school. I want to go to the States for university on a soccer scholarship. I went to the Women's World Cup in Australia in the summer of 2023 and decided that's what I wanted to do. I was inspired by Casey Phair, the 16-year-old player on South Korea. I was the only Grade 9 on the senior soccer team here at Ridley. I also play house league hockey as I do not have time to play anything higher.
