Personal Statement
I have loved playing softball ever since I was five and joined the Firebirds my first year of 10u and jumped teams a little until I switched back to the Firebirds in 13u. I jumped teams once more to end up on the Mount Vernon Magic Elite 18U. When on the field, I acquired a starting spot as a utility player for my travel team and my high school team. When hitting, I also have a lead off spot as a slapper/power hitter on both teams and my main focus is to get on base and into scoring position. When I am not playing softball, I am either working to get stronger, discovering a new hobby I would like to pursue(such as veterinary sciences), or I am studying to keep my grades up, because my academic achievement is very important to me.
