Personal Statement
My name is Sara Francis. I live in La Jolla, CA. I’ve been playing volleyball since I was 8 years old and have loved it since day 1. I am currently a starting setter/oppo on the 16-1 team with La Jolla Volleyball. I was also a starting setter/oppo on my freshman team at La Jolla High where I was the team captain and recipient of the Coach's Award. My leadership qualities shine on my volleyball teams, such as leading by example with my social interactions, being inclusive, and bringing others up. I always put my best foot forward and do my best in every activity I take part in. I’m in the biomedical pathway at La Jolla High School and I excel in my academic pursuits. In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, going to the beach, and spending time with my family and friends.
