Personal Statement
My name is Sammy Mizak, I am a 2025 5'8 versatile player from Tampa, FL. Although being a 6 rotation outside hitter has been my main position throughout my career, I am very open to being an opposite and defensive specialist as I have had many experiences in both. I began playing this sport in 2016 and it continues to be one of my top priorities. I am extremely passionate about volleyball and my goal is to play in college. Additionally, academics is exceedingly important to me as I have a 3.89 GPA, but always improving. I will never stop pushing myself to advance my skills and stay coachable. Another interesting fact about me is my fondness for animals. I am very appreciative of my position as a volunteer at the Pasco County Animal Shelter and cannot wait to see where this path takes me!
