Personal Statement
My Name is Samiya Wright I am in the graduating class of 2024 from San Diego CA. I am an Honors/AP Student-Athlete at West Hills High School and maintain a 3.88 GPA. I play for Athletics Mercado Carden. My primary positions are Catcher / 3b / 1b and I hit for power. I have been a Varsity Softball starting player for all three years of high school. Additionally, I have been playing Travel Ball since I was 10 years old. My other sport I enjoy as a Varsity Wrestler and I am currently ranked 7th in the 189lbs class over all in Southern California.
