Personal Statement
As a freshman at PLHS, I broke the digs per match record formerly held by All-American, Gina Mancuso, with 36 digs. After 4 seasons with the PLHS varsity volleyball team, I broke the PLHS career digs record with over 1,700 digs. I play club for Premier Nebraska Volleyball. I currently have a 4.2 GPA, earning Magna Cum Laude honors all 7 semesters. I was elected junior class officer, National Honor Society, and was accepted into the Leadership Academy. I'm a writer and editor for the school magazine, The Scepter, as a journalism sports writer. I took 6th place at the NSAA State journalism competition for a piece I wrote on the mental side of the game of volleyball my sophomore year and we took 1st place at state in 2021.
