Samantha Nissen

Hello, my name is Samantha Nissen. I am a rising junior at Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, California, where I participated in many sports growing up. Like most kids, I started playing soccer when I was five, and continued to play until high school, where I played two years on the junior varsity team. I began playing lacrosse when I was seven years old, and over the years, it has become my favorite sport to play. It has allowed me to connect with teammates and coaches, make new friends, and continue to develop my skills and fitness. Off the field, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, including my 4 year old lab, Cooper. I also love to get away and go skiing and hiking, as those activities allow me to let go and refocus.
