Personal Statement
My name is Samantha Haber.I’ve always loved basketball since I was 8 years old.When I won the Long Island Sharp Shooting contest in 4th grade and then getting pulled up to Varsity when I was in eighth grade, I realized I should be pursuing basketball more competitively. I work heavily with a personal basketball trainer 1-2 times a week and with my travel team run by Rosetti Basketball.We compete at the varsity level against AAU and travel teams alike.This past summer I was invited as LI Top 40 Players to attend camp run by Ron Alfieri Of All American Basketball.I was also selected by my high school Varsity coach to attend camp run by NBA’s Danny Green. Basketball is everything I want and I am looking forward to continuing by playing competitive basketball in college.
